New 1,100,000sq' Central Distribution Facility - Byhalia, MS
ELT Systems Group was awarded the opportunity to put together the largest parts distribution center Volvo currently has in the world. This 1.1 Million sq' facility houses parts for 6 different truck & marine brands and all of the storage planning was complete from conception to parts on the shelves in 6 months. Since this specific location was a very high seismic zone we teamed with Seizmic Inc. out of California to certify all of the planning and racking designs.
ELT supplied and installed all of the bin shelving, pallet flow, carton flow, pallet racking, facility protection, and safety equipment that went into this facility. This included unloading over 480 tractor trailer loads of metal shelving and our world class installation team working long hours 7 days a week to meet the tight deadline. This was all being put up while there were over 200 other tradesmen in the middle of constructing the facility.
New 30 Deep Pallet Flow System For Dole Distribution Center - Gloucester City, NJ
Achieving high density storage with a First-In First-Out model can sometimes be challenging. In this loading dock application we were able to double the customers current storage potential by supplying & installing a structural 30 deep pallet flow system.
This system enabled the customer to not only gain storage but make sure the pallets were put away and then picked to put into trailers in the correct order. There are a lot of benefits to a pallet flow system and with the life time warranty we provide on the rollers the cost of long term maintenance is very low.
60' Wide Crane Relocation - Plattsburg, NY
ELT Systems Group was contracted by a client to relocated (2) 60' wide overhead cranes in upper state New York. This switch was completed from start to finish in 7hrs while the facility was still running production.
One of the cranes included pneumatic lines and controls that needed to be discounted and moved to the new location. After both cranes were moved, crane stops were reattached, and all air lines were moved we preformed a final load test.
